The time has come...

...for me to choose a hotel for my Industrial Training at the end of this year. I've narrowed it down to:

Shangri-La Hotel KL
The Ritz-Carlton KL
Sheraton Imperial KL
Sunway Resort & Spa
Miri Marriott

Well, Le Meridian KL and Hilton KL were my choices at first, but since this is on a "first-come-first-served" basis, I missed out on those hotels. The pain of not having a laptop!

Aside from those 2, I had Sabah's hotel in mind, especially those in One Borneo, but sadly, none of those hotels were listed in the company list provided.

So..it all comes down to these few stated above, and a few others:
- Mandarin Oriental KL
- Palace of the Golden Horses

Yea, guess those few were it.

After I keyed in my choices and sent out my application, this senior came in and started asking all of the juniors about their 'soon-to-be' industrial training locations. A few of them mentioned their hotels and that's when he blabbed out his 'opinions' about the hotels, stupid damn sh*t!

" THAT hotel ah, f*cking sh*t, better go work at Nando's if you want to go there. NO USE!"

"You'll be carrying chairs and tables if you go there, it's the fasting month la, a lot of banquets, especially at night"

"Their shifts are useless, you're lucky if you get to work from 8am to 6pm, if not, you'll be getting the shift till 11pm"

"If not enough manpower, they would want you to slave till late at night! Then how you go home?!"

"You choose where?! Trust me, better not, I worked there for 1 year, like HELL la!"

************************

If you're saying that he speaks from his experiences, maybe you're right, but the weird thing is, he criticized most of the junior's choices, but he never mentioned any good hotels to work in.

C'mon, who wouldn't be afraid after you mention this? We're going for our FIRST Industrial Training, so at least give us some tips on which to go, instead of just saying that the hotels chosen were not going to be beneficial to us.
